Cyfrannu Ceiniogau
Cynllun rhoi trwy’r gyflogres sy’n cael ei redeg gan Elusen Iechyd Caerdydd a’r Fro yw Cyfrannu Ceiniogau. Mae staff Bwrdd Iechyd Prifysgol Caerdydd a’r Fro yn cael gwahoddiad i gofrestru i roi isafswm o 1 geiniog ac uchafswm o 99 ceiniog bob tro y byddant yn cael cyflog. Mae cofrestru ar gyfer Cyfrannu Ceiniogau yn golygu cytuno i gyfrannu’r ceiniogau ar ddiwedd eich cyflog bob mis – neu am dri mis y flwyddyn os byddwch yn cael eich talu bob wythnos. Mae hwn yn gynllun syml i ymuno ag ef ac i’w sefydlu.
Gyda’i gilydd, gallai’r ceiniogau gronni i wneud newid bychan a rhoi budd mawr!
Our Health Meadow – Ein Dôl Iechyd, an area for rest, recovery and rehabilitation is being developed to be a unique space within the grounds of University Hospital Llandough which is also open to the community and fully wheelchair accessible. It will be a place where patients and staff can get away from the hustle and bustle of daily hospital life and be outside in the fresh air with their visitors, friends and family.
Our Health Meadow – Ein Dôl Iechyd will bring to life the vision of a community orchard to the fields surrounding the hospital site. The Health Board is working with partners to establish this innovative project which is believed to be the first of its kind at a hospital site in the UK.
Dr Rhys Jones, Cardiff University Lecturer, reptile specialist, broadcaster and Our Health Meadow Ambassador, said, “Our Health Meadow – Ein Dôl Iechyd is a really exciting project. Your donations will help provide an accessible space for everyone to enjoy the outdoors, the wildlife, trees and plants, and time outside the confines of a traditional hospital ward will have a positive impact on wellbeing and recovery.”

Children’s Cancer Care – Sierra Leone – This initiative is part of the Health Board’s commitment to the Wales for Africa programme which is a partnership between Welsh Government and the Health Board. Your donation will help the Team from Wales to continue to support the care of children with cancer at the Ola During Children’s Hospital in Freetown (the capital of Sierra Leone) and in the surrounding districts. The team provides training and expertise for the medical and nursing team in Sierra Leone in addition to contributing to some of the diagnostic texts and treatment the children need.
Meriel Jenney, Deputy Medical Director at Cardiff and Vale University Health Board said: “There is a team from Cardiff and Vale UHB working with the children’s hospital in Freetown, Sierra Leone to support the care of children with cancer. We are raising money to provide training for the nurses, doctors and laboratory staff, helping to improve the diagnosis and the safe delivery of treatment and to contribute to the chemotherapy and other direct costs of care. There is a long way to go to develop a full children’s cancer service however these are important steps in developing a sustainable service.”
The children are treated at Ola During Children’s Hospital in Freetown, the capital of Sierra Leone. Ola During Children’s Hospital is the only designated government children’s hospital in Sierra Leone.
