A little update on the PROP Blue Tie Ball following the fabulous event that was held on Friday 6th October. The Ball which was headline sponsored by Hugh James Solicitors was held in aid of the Prop Appeal which supports patients at University Hospital Llandough who are suffering from an acquired brain injury.

We were delighted to welcome 230 guests to The Coal Exchange Hotel, many of which have been long-term supporters of the Prop Appeal. Guests were greeted at the start of the evening by the Re-choir who sang beautifully and provided the WOW factor as guests arrived.

Also included were a three-course meal and disco, as well as a live performance from Gas Trick Band. Among the performers was Luke Bingham Magic, whose unique tricks delighted the guests.

Funds were raised on the night through the generosity of supporters who participated in the raffle, auction and games on the night. Such a big thank you from all of us at Cardiff & Vale Health Charity to our hosts and Charity Patrons Wyburn & Wayne, Amy and Alice, who are part of our Prop Appeal Committee who volunteer and work in partnership with the Health Charity to organise this fabulous event.

We would like to say a big thank you to our headline sponsor, Hugh James Solicitors, and to Case Management Cymru who sponsored the wonderful band and 30 Park Place who sponsored the pre-drinks reception. Also, a huge thanks to the many local businesses who donated a prize to our raffle and auction. We would also like to thank everyone who attended and supported the event, raising funds for such an important cause.

The night was a wonderful success and raised over £8,000

We’re looking forward to next year already!
