Cardiff & Vale Health Charity is pleased to announce David Evans, Multi Discipline Team Leader for Capital, Estates and Facilities of Cardiff and Vale University Health Board, has been crowned Health Hero for June.

David has been proudly nominated by the Arts for Health and Wellbeing Team for his selflessness, continued support and ongoing work for the art projects they continuously receive.

Dave’s hard work does not go unnoticed as he is described as courteous, kind, positive and helpful whilst remaining solution focused and practical. Dave displays the values of the University Health Board and does his role with a sense of humour and can-do attitude.

Dave ensures he is supporting the experience for everyone using the Health Board estate and has been so helpful in a number of arts projects.

Alex Staples, Arts in Health Programme Manager said, ‘Dave and his team work tirelessly to support improving environments for patients, staff, volunteers and visitors. We thank him for his help and support.’

David will be Health Hero for the month of June and will receive a treat from sponsors Park Plaza Cardiff. He is delighted with the award nomination.
