A Christmas Wreath Making Workshop was organised by Cardiff & Vale Health Charity to raise funds for the Arts for Health and Wellbeing Programme on Wednesday 23rd November 2022.

The event took place at Woodland House and welcomed nearly 50 participants across two sittings who enjoyed hot drinks and cakes kindly donated by Memory Lane Cakes.

The workshop was ran by Natalie and Amanda from Hearts and Flowers / About Flowers who guided participants through creating their own Christmas Wreath. The wreaths all looked amazing and we are looking forward to seeing them up for Christmas!

A Christmas Raffle was also drawn at the event and winners left with prizes generously donated by Sherman Theatre, St David’s Hall, Mack Events, and Kate Broadhurst. One lucky staff member also won a one year free membership for one person at Everlast Gyms kindly donated by http://www.StaffBenefits.co.uk

The event raised over £1000 for the Arts for Health and Wellbeing Programme and will be a significant contribution to continuing and developing the programme to offer creative environments, workshops and opportunities to patients, staff and visitors at Cardiff and Vale University Health Board.

We would like to say a big thank you to Hearts and Flowers / About Flowers, the local businesses who donated to the event and everyone who attended the workshop, we really appreciate your support.
