Saturday 30th November saw our celebration, Gold Tie Gala Ball, take place at the Mercure Holland House Hotel, Cardiff. Our usual ‘pink tie’ event turned gold this year to celebrate years of dedication and support in raising £1million for the Breast Centre Appeal.

276 people joined in the revelry, and thanks to their support and generosity and through sponsorship and auction/raffle donations, we were able to raise over £6000 on the night! A huge thank you to our sponsors, Sirius Medical and Cardiff Gold, and to all that donated raffle and auction prizes for the night. Thank you too to our amazing host, Jamie McGowan, our patron Suzanne Packer, our Breast Centre Appeal Committee and to everyone who supported the event this year.

The video above highlights exactly what our Gold Tie Ball was fundraising for, our Exercise Prescription Programme, and we hope you can see the direct impact this support has on our patients, and staff, at the Breast Centre, University Hospital Llandough.

Thank you so much to our fabulous pink ribbon fitness ladies who took part in the video, Tor our Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist, and Nat, Sarah and the brilliant team at Splash Central Cardiff.
