Working with local charity Cardiff Pedal Power, and funded by Cardiff & Vale Health Charity, free bike health checks will be taking place around Cardiff and Vale University Health Board sites.
Each bike will have a 30 minute slot to carry out safety checks and carry out minor repairs on site. The Pedal Power team will have a mobile stand and tools with them to make repairs and will have Covid-19 precautions in place.
If the team finds your bike needs a larger repair they can then advise you on what’s needed and you will have the opportunity to book your bike in with either Cardiff Pedal Power at their Pontcanna site or if you happen to use a local bike shop you can be armed with information on what repairs are needed.
Make sure you take this opportunity to make sure you have a ‘healthy’ bike!
