Everyone at Cardiff & Vale Health Charity would like to say a massive thank you to Twm Huw who decided to do a 10×100 Challenge, all in aid of helping the staff of Cardiff and Vale University Health Board during the COVID-19 pandemic!
Inspired and motivated by another NHS fundraising hero Captain Tom Moore, our very own 10 year old ‘Capten’ Twm wanted to show his support for the NHS staff tirelessly working across Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan and decided to start fundraising. As a way of showing his thanks, Twm pledged to complete a 10×100 challenge at 10am on Sunday 10th May. Twm’s herculean challenge would involve; 100 laps of his back-lane; 100 pogo jumps; 100 times up and down his stairs; 100 football keep-ups; 100 star jumps; 100 press-ups; 100 minutes silence; 100 burpees; 100 skips and 100 sit-ups!
Twm completed his challenge at 8:30pm and has raised a fantastic £1,035, which he wishes to donate to Cardiff & Vale Health Charity to help support our NHS heroes! Twm said “I did the 10×100 Challenge for Cardiff & Vale Health Charity to support my local health service and the all the NHS staff across Cardiff and the Vale who working really hard during this pandemic”.
Cardiff & Vale Health Charity very much appreciate this act of kindness and on behalf of all the NHS teams here in Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan, we thank Twm from the bottom of our hearts for his inspiring kindness and generosity once again.

Frontline NHS staff go to work to keep us and our loved ones safe. The greatest thing we can do right now to return the gesture is to stay at home.
