Back in 2014, Richard Jones was diagnosed with a brain tumour, and was supported by the T4 Neurosciences High Care ward during the tests, as well as the post-surgery procedures. He was also in hospital due to a developing blood clot on the lung and pneumonia and has been giving his thanks to the T4 ward staff for their excellent work and incredible support by participating in various challenges to fundraise for their unit.

Richard’s upcoming challenge will take place on the 18th of September, and he will be participating in the 50km Trekfest around the Brecon Beacons. Trekfest is an annual challenge where you’re able to choose a distance of either 25k or 50k, to walk, jog or run through the Brecon Beacons. We wish Richard the best of luck in this incredible feat, and we thank him for his continuous support!
