Fourteen teams took part in the Battle of the Beds, hoping to be crowned fastest team, racing their themed bed from one side of the barrage to the other. There were also prizes also for the most amount raised for Cardiff & Vale Health Charity as well as for the best decorated bed.
The Pod Pushers won the Bed Push Challenge with the fastest time and Choose Life won the Bed Dressed Bed competition with their entry based on the 1980’s. We are thrilled to announce that the Pod Pushers have also won the Most Fundraising Total Award raising a grand total of £678 with the Rookie Rehabs a very close second place with £567. Thank you to all that took part, raising a collective £3,708.
Teams that took part raised money that will go directly back into wards, departments and hospitals or to a Health Charity appeal of their choice – The PROP Appeal, The Breast Centre Appeal, The Make It Better Fund, Our Orchard or the Better Life Appeal to help make things better for patients.
