A great night was had by all at the fourth Martha’s Dancing Heart Ball held at Mercure Holland House, Cardiff.   Mum Michelle, whose daughter Martha was born with a rapid heartbeat has raised nearly £55,000 since her fundraising campaign began back in 2015. Michelle was completely overwhelmed by the support of her friends and family and was thrilled to receive some fantastic auction prize including a one of kind gift from Chris Evans and Virgin Radio which went for £1,500!

Little Martha Graham’s heart was racing at twice the normal speed when doctors decided to deliver her by emergency Caesarean at 35 weeks.

Admitted to the hospital’s neonatal unit for 17 days she then spent a week on the cardiac ward at the Noah’s Ark Children for Wales where treatment was “second to none” said mother Michelle Graham.

“We could not have had better care.  All the staff were amazing to the whole family,” said Michelle.  “We know that without the love and support of her hospital angels, Martha could have been very poorly.”

Funds raised will continue to support Neonatal Services and Paediatric Cardiology Services.
