Now, more than ever, there’s never been a better time to say “Thank You” to your local NHS.
Join Kasim Ali and the team at Waterloo Tea and have a cuppa, a cake and raise some cash for Cardiff & Vale Health Charity as they take part in the NHS Big Tea campaign.
Kasim and the team were extremely supportive of Cardiff and Vale University Health Board staff during the pandemic, raising thousands of pounds to feed those on the frontline with meals and snacks through the Feed The Heath collaboration which he formed with many local food suppliers.
He brought together local restaurants, cafes and caterers to provide a steady stream of fresh and nutritious meals to hard-working staff at University Hospital of Wales and University Hospital Llandough.
Kasim will be holding an NHS Big Tea event at Waterloo Tea, Clearwater Way, Lakeside, Cardiff on Monday 5th July between 9am – 12pm, why not pop in for a brew and say thank you!
The NHS Big Tea is a call to join a national outpouring of thanks on 5th July – the birthday of the NHS or at any time that works for you. It’ll be a celebration to show the love, gratitude, a shared moment of joy and generosity, warmth and reflection. All stirred together like our national brew.
By holding an NHS Big Tea this summer, your donations will ensure sure that the Health Charity can keep on supporting dedicated NHS staff throughout Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan when they need it the most.
Get involved by either hosting an outdoor NHS Big Tea party in person or virtually with friends and family, or get involved just by taking a tea break with your colleagues, donate £5 and tag 5 people to show your appreciation. Hold a bake sale or treat your friends and family to a full afternoon tea, the choice is yours!
With every cup of tea and every toastie, with every penny and every pound raised, the Health Charity will champion the wellbeing of local NHS heroes. It’s time to brew a national thank you.
