Thank you to Jenna and Chris Sparkes who recently donated a large variety of tea, coffee, biscuits and other kitchen staples to help support families whose children are being treated in the Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospital, Paediatric Intensive Care Unit. (PICU).

The family returned to the unit to meet with Nichola and other Health Board colleagues who supported them during such a difficult time.

In addition, they also donated £1,134 raised from a recent coffee morning to the unit in recognition to care provided to them and their son Henry, whose critical condition heartbreakingly led to his passing.   The family have also supported Noah’s Ark Children’s Charity and Ronald McDonalds House Charity over the past few months.

Continuing their support for PICU, Jenna’s mum Trudy, has planned a Skydive in Swansea and Chris will run the Cardiff Half Marathon this October.

They are channelling their immense sorrow into positive action, fundraising for causes close to their hearts. In their grief, they are committed to keeping Henry’s memory alive.

If you would like to donate and support them, you can do so here –
