Inspirational supporter and patient of the Breast Centre, Debs Harris, has recently finished her ‘Triple Challenge’ all raising funds for the Cardiff & Vale Health Charity’s Breast Centre Appeal.
Debs is just over three years post-first mastectomy so decided to do three amazing challenges!
- Walk 10 Miles to Celebrate 10 Years of the Breast Centre Appeal in September 2021
- Welsh Three Peaks in October 2021
- NHS Big Jump Skydive in May 2022 (Fourth time lucky – delayed by weather delays!)
In Debs’ own words, “I’m raising money for the University Hospital Llandough Breast Centre Appeal as I wouldn’t be here today without them. With a special mention to Tor Collins (Senior Physio) who went over and above in her support and helping me recover.”
On finishing her last challenge this month, which Debs said was “awesome!!”, this inspirational lady has raised just over £3,000 for our Breast Centre Appeal – absolutely smashing her original £250 target!
