Arts and Minds
The Arts for Health and Wellbeing team at Cardiff & Vale Health Charity have secured funding from an Arts Council of Wales and Baring Foundation initiative, Celf a’r Meddwl | Arts and Minds.
The new funding initiative enables the Arts Team to support a network of artists and health professionals to co-create and deliver innovative arts interventions and opportunities for adults in recovery and in need of mental health support, building life-skills and a network of support within our communities.

Arts and Minds; Concluding Year 1
Our Year 1 Arts and Minds Projects, 2021-2022 were delivered within the clinical environment at the Neuropsychiatry Department, Hafan y Coed Adult Mental Health Unit, University Hospital Llandough, within the community at the 4 Winds Mental Health Resource Centre and the Grange Bowls Pavilion, Cardiff, and through the Recovery and Wellbeing College, CAVUHB.

Rubicon‘s Music and Movement sessions, already very much part of our support for patients and staff in our MHSOP and Stroke Rehabilitation Centre, began last week and bring an exciting new opportunity in supporting mental and physical wellbeing in our Neuropsychiatry Department.
