One of our brilliant Breast Centre Appeal Committee Members, and long time Breast Centre Appeal supporter, Cariann Emanuelli, is taking on the challenge of all challenges this May!  Along with friends and colleagues, Zoe Davies, Carl Turner, Adam Sparkes and Mark Morris, they have committed to taking on the 10YFan challenge, to climb Pen y Fan up to 10 times in 24 hours.

These 5 amazing (also read crazy!) people have been able to choose to support our Breast Centre Appeal as part of this challenge, and their joint fundraising target is £1250!

Pen Y Fan is 2,907 ft and Everest is 29,029 feet, so you could say that if you completed 10YFan, it is the equivalent of climbing Everest ….. a bit of a stretch maybe, but it just shows the enormity of achieving the full ten climbs. The organisers say that 10yFan is for everyone, and whether you complete one climb or ten, it’s an amazing accomplishment.  You don’t need oxygen, snow boots or a tent though, just a determination to complete as many climbs as you want in 24 hours.

We wish them all huge good luck, fabulous views and no blisters.
