The Arts for Health and Wellbeing Team are delighted to showcase some of the fabulous work created as part of our collaboration with The Dusty Forge Youth Project, ACE – Action in Caerau and Ely.
The project, Young Arts For Change, is part of the Arts Council of Wales and Baring Foundation funded Arts and Minds, and explores the potential for youth art and sharing creative ways in support of wellbeing for young people.
Nicola Parsons, Artist and Arts Practitioner at ACE – Action in Caerau and Ely, worked with young people at Dusty Forge to create collages to inform and inspire mask designs, and also with pupils and staff at Fitzalan High School in Cardiff.
We are thrilled to see the vibrant designs and artwork being created through this initiative.

“Young people have recognised this as a ‘safe space’ where they can be relaxed and share stories and ideas.”
