We’re thrilled to announce the official launch of the brand-new Health Charity Hub, opening on 20 April in Concourse, University Hospital of Wales – and we’re kicking things off in spectacular style!
To mark this exciting moment, charity patrons Wyburn & Wayne will be with us throughout the day, broadcasting their much-loved Radio Cardiff show live from the Hub, with the episode airing on Friday 24 April.
Meet Our Star Guests
Nathan Wyburn, renowned artist and health charity patron, will be joining us on launch day. Nathan’s iconic artwork already brightens spaces across Cardiff and Vale University Health Board – and if you’re lucky, you may even catch him creating something live and in person on the day.

Alongside Nathan, we’re delighted to welcome:
- Wayne Courtney, co-host and charity patron, bringing his trademark warmth and humour
- Travis George, Britain’s Got Talent performer and self-proclaimed “Hagrid-looking” actor and singer
- Sophie Baker, Cardiff-based musical theatre performer, appearing as Princess Rapunzel to add a little extra magic
- Travis‑Jack Lewis, singer-songwriter and musical theatre talent, whose debut single “Goodbye Emily” was released in 2025

The Health Charity Hub is going to be more than just a space, it’ll be a place where:
- Stories are shared
- Support is celebrated
- Collaboration is welcomed
- And together, good things happen
Whether you’re stopping by for the music, the art, the performances, or simply to soak up the atmosphere, we’d love for you to be part of this special day.
