The State of Art project was a dynamic and innovative initiative aimed at offering alternative and imaginative learning opportunities for young people aged 16-25 years in Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan.

Set in the creative environment of The Sustainable Studio in Riverside, Cardiff, the project aimed to support a safe space for young people and young adults. Through innovative arts interventions, State of Art successfully blended artistic expression with personal development, using creativity as a vehicle for building confidence, enhancing skills, and fostering meaningful connections among participants.

The project was a collaboration between Beth Morris Workshops, the Sustainable Studio and the Arts for Health and Wellbeing Team, Cardiff & Vale Health Charity, CAVUHB, and was funded by the Arts Council of Wales.

Our project was delivered at The Sustainable Studio, Riverside, Cardiff between April and August 2024.
