We have received news of the first fundraisers who have signed up to Skydive for NHS at 75.

Olivia, Charlie and Anais will be taking to the skies on 9th July 2023 in memory of their beloved nan, Anita Person, who suffered a traumatic brain injury in 2022 and unfortunately could not recover.

The team of three want to thank Cardiff and Vale University Health Board for taking excellent care of Anita, and will be raising funds for Our Health Meadow at University Hospital Llandough, an innovative green space supporting the wellbeing of patients, staff, visitors and members of the community through sustainable outdoor activities.

Olivia, Charlie and Anais said: “Nan was a thrill seeker and would have absolutely loved the idea of throwing herself out of a plane. So, in her honour, we have taken up the challenge and on Sunday 9th July we will “enjoy” an exhilarating one-minute free fall tandem dive from 15,000ft!”

We’d like to say a huge thank you to the Olivia, Charlie and Anais for their commitment to support Our Health Meadow at Cardiff & Vale Health Charity by taking part in this unforgettable once in a lifetime experience. To support them by donating, please visit their JustGiving page.

If you’d like to give thanks to your local hospital for providing excellent service to yourself or a loved one, or if you’d like to join us in our celebrations of the NHS turning 75, you can also sign up to take part in the skydive.
