Cardiff & Vale Health Charity is pleased to announce Meryl Hosapian, has been crowned Health Hero for June.
Meryl has been described by her colleagues as having the most wonderful way with patients, engaging them and calming them down when en route to often upsetting and anxiety-inducing scans. With a positive attitude, she often works hard and never grumbles.
On discussing Meryl’s nomination, a colleague said, “Meryl has a gift. She’s been a rock to me, sensing when things aren’t right. She’s always friendly and bubbly to staff and patients. She even saw me stressed one day and returned to the ward after her shift to fill my pockets with chocolate, then she made the effort to find me the next day to check I was okay. Incredible lady.”
Julie Morris, Senior Supervisor said, “I have found Meryl to be flexible, and to have a very caring approach toward patients and visitors alike. We’ve received compliments about Meryl’s standard of work and the compassion she continues to show others. I am delighted to hear that she has been nominated.”
Meryl will be Health Hero for the month of June and will receive a treat from sponsors Park Plaza Cardiff. She is delighted with the award nomination.
The Health Hero Award is supported by Cardiff & Vale Health Charity and Park Plaza Cardiff.
