Do you know what a difference your donations to the Health Charity make every day?
Here’s just one example of the many projects we fund from your kindness. Jackie is the activities co-ordinator for ward A7 at University Hospital of Wales, and she wanted to make the day room more welcoming for people with dementia. Her idea was to buy special games, puzzles, crafting equipment and interactive lighting to help people relax and take their mind off being in hospital.
The NHS doesn’t have spare cash for these kind of projects, but thanks to your donations, Jackie really has been able to Make It Better 🙂
The Make It Better Fund is the general purpose fund at Cardiff & Vale Health Charity. It’s where staff can put forward their ideas and have them approved for funding by a panel of healthcare professionals. Every donation really does make healthcare better – thank you so much for your support!
