Cardiff & Vale University Health Board is delighted to announce that Lisa Cordery, Specialist Community Public Health Nurse has made the 2020 Pinc List.

Now in its fifth year, the Pinc List is an opportunity to recognise and thank LGBT+ individuals within our local communities and those in the public eye for all the work they do.
Lisa was nominated for her work with Cardiff and Vale Health Youth Board and the Switched On service.
Lisa goes above and beyond to champion the rights of children and young people and makes sure they are heard within the Health Board.
Lisa is also a Team Leader for Switched On, which is a substance misuse information, education and advice service for anyone under the age of 25. She ensures that the service is fully inclusive and aware of the importance of language used in all their workshops and tackles negativity through education and discussion.
Gian Molinu, Chair of Pride Cymru said: “The Pinc List has become a staple part of our annual pride celebrations.
“It gives us the chance to thank those who are challenging negative attitudes towards LGBT+ people across Wales and to recognise those making a difference in our own communities.
“From activists and campaigners, to known personalities and local figures, no difference is ‘too small’, which is why we want to encourage everyone to get involved. We want to hear your stories.
“This is a moment to mark the progress made towards equality and to share pride in our nation.”
Len Richards, Chief Executive of Cardiff and Vale UHB said: “I’d like to congratulate Lisa on making The Pinc List. It’s great to see her getting the recognition she deserves for the valuable support she provides for the LGBT+ community through the “Switched On” substance misuse service and for the fantastic work she carries out championing the rights of young people through our Youth Board.”
