Grow Well Together

Help Someone Find Themselves Again Through Community Gardening
“It’s changed my life. I was down, but being out here has helped me get my life back together.” – Grow Well participant
Every week, in all weathers, the Grow Well team welcomes people who are struggling with their mental or physical health, feeling isolated, or finding life overwhelming. Across Grow Cardiff’s four therapeutic community gardens in Ely, Canton, Riverside and Grangetown, areas where life expectancy can be 17 years lower than in north Cardiff, something extraordinary happens.
Often people arrive feeling lost or stuck.
They leave feeling seen, heard, confident and able.

Where Nature Nurtures People
At Grow Well, community gardening is so much more than planting seeds. It’s a place where people can:
- Connect with nature
- Grow and care for plants
- Cook and share food
- Create art and crafts
- Support wildlife
- And, most importantly, share time, chat and compassion
Here, as people lose themselves in the garden, they find themselves again.
“The project has kept me sane; I feel human again after feeling very vulnerable.”

No matter the amount, your kindness grows far beyond the garden gates.
