Everyone at Cardiff & Vale Health Charity would like to say a massive thank you to Finley Jack Gately who decided to take the bold decision to shave his head, all in aid of helping the staff of Cardiff and Vale University Health Board during the COVID-19 pandemic!

Finley Jack wanted to show his support for the NHS staff tirelessly working across Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan so decided to start fundraising. Finley Jack with the help of his dad and a set of clippers, shaved his head on Tuesday 28th April 2020 and we must say he look pretty cool too! Finley Jack’s total currently stands at a fantastic £602.50 which he would like to be donated to Cardiff & Vale Health Charity to help support his local NHS staff.

Finley said: “I decided to shave my head to raise some much needed funds for the NHS in Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan. Raising money for such a great cause is my way of saying thank you and I hope it will help in the fight against Coronavirus”.

We at Cardiff & Vale Health Charity think Finley is a star and very much appreciate this act of kindness. On behalf of all the NHS teams here in Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan, we thank Finley Jack from the bottom of our hearts for his inspiring kindness and generosity once again.
