Everyone at Cardiff & Vale Health Charity would like to say a massive thank you to ‘Eseta Tapa’atoutai-Uhi who decided to do the 2.6 Challenge, all in aid of helping the staff of Cardiff and Vale University Health Board during the COVID-19 pandemic!

‘Eseta who is 5 years old (nearly 6) wanted to show her support to the NHS and decided to start fundraising, to aid the NHS staff tirelessly working across Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan. ‘Eseta decided that she would participate in the 2.6 Challenge and pledged to cycle up and down her back lane 26 times, a distance of 2.9 miles, all whilst dressed as Wonder Woman!

‘Eseta, with the help of her canine companion, triumphantly completed her challenge on Monday 27th April and has so far raised a fantastic £1,128.75 for Cardiff & Vale Health Charity to support to our NHS heroes! ‘Eseta said “I want to help people who are ill with COVID-19 and to help the health workers working so hard to help them feel better”.

Cardiff & Vale Health Charity very much appreciate this act of kindness and thinks that ‘Eseta is a true superhero! On behalf of all the NHS teams here in Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan, we thank her from the bottom of our hearts for her inspiring kindness and generosity once again.
