Cardiff & Vale Health Charity is pleased to announce Dr Stuart Gray, GP, Whitchurch Medical Centre has been crowned Health Hero for July.

Dr Gray joined Whitchurch Medical Centre as a General Practitioner in 2014 and is passionate about supporting patients.

Nominated by a patient, it was clear that Dr Gray always takes his time and listens to what his patients say, hoping to give the best outcome.

The patient said, “I have a condition called endometriosis, and I’ve previously had to change practices due to being dismissed and not listened to. For the past 5 years I have been with Dr Gray at Whitchurch Medical Centre and he has been outstanding with my care; he always listens, understands, and reassures me.”

It was noted that Dr Gray will always endeavour to answer all questions, but if he is unsure, he often undertakes research and ensures to update the patient.

“He is very compassionate and not only looks after my physical health, but my mental health is always a priority too,” the patient continued. “He goes above and beyond, and is outstanding; I’ve heard many patient say the same!”

Dr Gray will be Health Hero for the month of July and will receive a treat from sponsors Park Plaza Cardiff. He is delighted with the award nomination.
