Our hospital site is looking brighter and more welcoming thanks to a series of colourful new wall murals funded by the Cardiff & Vale Health Charity Staff Lottery. These artworks, now seen at University Hospital of Wales, have transformed corridors and waiting areas into uplifting spaces for staff, patients, and visitors.
Designed to improve wellbeing, each mural brings personality and warmth to spaces that staff, patients, and families pass through every day.
All of this has been made possible through the generosity of colleagues who support the Staff Lottery, which reinvests funds into projects that improve patient experience and staff environments.
The murals are a powerful example of how small contributions from staff can create meaningful, visible improvements around our hospital site.
