The Claims team at Admiral have recently raised £1,570 after deciding that they wanted to give something back to their local NHS charity this Christmas and help those most in need.

Michelle Deen and Laura Smith, both from the Claims team, said “Here at Admiral Claims we thought, as this year has been a tough one for so many people we wanted to help. We feel we are the lucky ones who have been able to work throughout this difficult time. So, we are encouraging the true meaning of Christmas by giving to others less fortunate than ourselves in our local community. We therefore chose the Health Charity, specifically the Children, Young People & Family Services by providing gift vouchers to send to families most in need this Christmas.

In order to raise funds for the Charity we arranged several fundraisers, including exchanging secret Santa gifts for a donation to the charity. We also carried out a virtual charity auction, where colleagues could bid for time off. This was a great success and brought the department together in festive fun way, all while fundraising. We are delighted that we managed to raise £1,570.”

Rachel Raymond, Acting Flying Start Health Manager, says “We would like to send a big thank you to Admiral Claims for the fundraising and exchanging their secret Santa presents this year to donate vouchers to many families across Cardiff. The health visitors have distributed the vouchers to the most vulnerable families with young children which have provided some happiness at this unprecedented time. We appreciate all your support and generosity and would like to wish everyone a Happy Christmas and a prosperous new year.”
