With just over 2 months to go, we are thrilled to share that this May, Cardiff & Vale Health Charity has 8 extraordinary supporters ready to take on the mammoth 10YFan challenge. 10 Climbs, 24 Hours, 1 Cause!
Our challenge participants will attempt to climb to the summit of Pen y Fan and back up to 10 times within 24 hours. To put that into perspective, Pen y Fan stands at 2,907 feet, and Everest reaches 29,029 feet. Completing the 10YFan challenge is like climbing Everest!
However you choose to look at it, 10YFan is a challenge of a lifetime.
The event will kick off in the early evening on May 10th, 2025, and continue through the night for a full 24-hour period. The number of climbs completed within this time is up to each participant. It’s a true test of fitness, determination, willpower, and knees!
Our brave team of 8—Bevan, Lauren, Kimberley, Mike, Michelle, Jon, Philip, and Sherelle—are already in training and working on their fundraising goals.
